Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Hi Everyone! It's been a while since I've posted, so I wanted to share this recipe I made this last week for dinner. It was super simple and quite tasty! Unfortunately, I cannot eat a lot of butter, so I shaved the butter serving down to about 1/2 tb and added a bit more oil, but I'm sure the original version (posted above) is amazing with the full amount of butter. Give this a go for a delicious weeknight meal!
Ingredients:
1 tb olive oil
1 1/2 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite size pieces (you could also use tenderloin, strip, or ribeye)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tb butter, unsalted
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tb fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
Add the olive oil to a skillet and bring to high heat. Add the steak and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let cook for 2 minutes (without stirring), stir, and then cook another 2 minutes. You may need to cook in batches if your skillet isn't large enough. Transfer the steak to a plate. Bring the temperature down to medium-low and add the butter until it's melted. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and stir for approximately 30 seconds. Turn the heat off and add the steak back in to stir into the sauce. Top with parsley and serve with your side of choice. I roasted a variety of vegetables and served the steak bites over those. Enjoy!
